French skipper Thomas COVILLE has set a new multihull solo nonstop North Atlantic crossing record on board the trimaran Sodeb'O, crossing Atlantic ocean from Ambrose Light to Cape Lizard in 5 days, 19 hours, 29 minutes and 20 seconds, beating the existing record held by Francis JOYON and IDEC of 6 days, 4 hours, 1 minute and 37 seconds.
